15389 Building Hallway Carpet Installation & Threshold Removal
To install the carpet underneath your front door threshold, we require access to your suite on Monday Nov 3rd from 9am-12pm to remove the front door threshold and Friday Nov 14th 9am-12pm to reinstall it. If you cannot be home to provide access during this time:
- Remove the threshold yourself prior to Nov 3rd. They can easily be removed by removing the two screws with a drill or screwdriver. It can be reinstalled once the new carpet has been installed on your floor.
- Leave keys with a trusted neighbour
The proposed installation schedule is below. It is subject to change.

Nov 3: All threshold removal & removal on most floors & stairs Nov 4-5: Removal on remaining floors and any floor prep if required Nov 6: Installation on 4th floor Nov 7: Installation on 3rd floor Nov 10: Installation on 2nd floor Nov 11: Remembrance day (no work) Nov 12-13: Installation on 1st floor & stairs Nov 14: Threshold reinstall on all floors & continued stairs install |
During installation and floor prep, patching compound and glue need time to set. Our team will knock on your door & tape it off when glue or cement are outside your door. Our team will be within talking distance on the floor they are working on to answer any questions. Please expect construction noises & odors from glue or cement. Consider moving noise-sensitive activities outside of business hours or to another location. Our working hours are 8am-5pm.
