Jul 12 Installation team underway with Removal of old carpet and tack strip. Tack strip is glued down and our installers will be using a small jackhammer to remove the tack strip. This may cause noise during work hours during our removal this week.

**Your patience is greatly appreciated during the installation and disruption in your building as we ask you to avoid the lobbies and use stairs when patch is drying or glue has been applied. Our guys are working hard to get this renovation done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please feel free to say hello when you’re coming and going. **

Current Update:

May 4th: From 9AM to 12PM

Installers will be in the building during these hours. Areas they will be working:

– elevator lobbies ­

 – cove base adjustments

 – caulking ­ adjustments to carpet at thresholds: Units 522, 533, 434 and 323

If you are having any issues with carpet at the threshold of your unit, please advise the building manager and we will have the installer come to your unit to inspect and make any needed adjustments.

Apr 15-19:

*** THRESHOLD RE-INSTALLATION WILL BE HAPPENING THURSDAY AND FRIDAY (APR 19-20 HOURS BETWEEN 8AM-6PM). WE NEED ACCESS TO YOUR UNIT. IF NO ACCESS PROVIDED WHEN INSTALLER COMES TO YOUR SUITE, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RE-INSTALL YOUR THRESHOLD***
-Tile in elevator installation to be Apr 18 from 1PM to 6PM.
– Carpet Tile installation Level 2 today, Level 1 Tuesday from 8am – 10am. – watch for wet glue (If area blocked, feel free to ask installer)
– Base cove will be installed from Tuesday through to Saturday

Apr 11: 

Thank you to those who moved their cars so that we could remove the garbage bin. It going to be gone by 11AM today.

Apr 9:

– LVP is completed in lobbies. Thank you for using the stairs to get around for a few days :)

– Carpet Tile installation Level 5 starting today. They will be working on each floor approximately for 2 days. So Level 4 will start Thursday / Friday. Level 3 starting on Saturday – watch for wet glue – If area is blocked, check with installers or find a route around if possible.

– BIN removal is ready for pick up anytime to give you back parking spots – but only if we can get clearance in front of bin, please do not move pylons or park within 60 ft of bin to allow truck to remove.

Apr 5: 

Mar 26: 

We are gearing up quickly upcoming start of the new flooring installation at your building.  The building manager will be placing pylons in the area in front of the building for the disposal bin placement.  This will be showing up early on April 3rd morning.  Installers will be pulling up the flooring starting on the top floor and working down followed by checking and applying any floor preparation needed.

Mar 20: 

This job is scheduled to start on Wednesday April 3, 2019. We will soon be posting a detailed Schedule.

Current Update:

Jan 25: Carpet tile installation has begun in the North Building as scheduled and is expected to be complete Jan 26. The south building is scheduled for Jan 28-29. We ask that during this time you try to make yourself available to open your front door so the carpet tile can be installed properly under neath your threshold.  If you find carpet tile left over the threshold, please advise Crossroads or call/text Sandy at 778-809-0648 time you can be available for installers to remove and replace.  Hours installers will be on site: Mon-Fri 8-5; Sat 9-4pm.

Install team will return Saturday Jan 26 from 9AM to 1PM.

Last day for thresholds not removed and replaced will be Tuesday for both North and South buildings.  (North done today; South done Tuesday) Installers on site Friday till 5pm. South building: Monday and Tuesday: 8am to 6pm.

Previous Updates:

Jan 14: South Building is complete except the elevator. North Building all areas are complete except the Lobby, which will be done Tuesday. North elevator to be done between 3-4PM today. South Elevator to be done 4-5 PM today.

Jan 11: LVP will be completed in both buildings today in all areas except for the elevators – these will be done on Monday. Carpet removal will be completed today. Carpet tile will begin Jan 24th to Jan 31st.

Current Update:

Jan 24: Install is now back on track after the discovery of double glue down floors or certain levels. We are now expected to now be complete this project on Monday Jan 28th.

**Thresholds do not need to be removed now as the carpet tile can be slid under.**

**GLUE: The nature of the glue for carpet tile is that we have to trowel it out and then let it tack up. So it has to sit for a short period of time. During this time, ideally nobody walks through the hallway. When we are in install mode in your building please when opening your door, do a quick look to make sure there is no wet glue in front of your door. If there is our installer should be within talking distance, so problem solve the timing with our team. **

Previous Updates:

Jan 22: We will be finished up to floor 10 by end of day today. Tear out and install on floors 9, 8 & 7 will begin tomorrow. Tear out may require additional time as these floors appear to be a double glue down.

Jan 18: Level 18 to be complete today. Levels 17, 16 & 15 are being torn out today and installation be complete for these floors on Monday Jan 21.

Jan 16: **Thresholds do not need to be removed now as the carpet tile can be slid under.** Floors 27, 26 & 25 are to be complete today. Floors 24, 23 & 22 removal and install to be complete tomorrow.

Jan 15: Removal is underway on floor 27. All materials now delivered to site. Removal of 26 and 25 will continue tomorrow.

Jan 9: Installation is to begin Jan 15 and we are projected to finish Jan 28.

Oct 4th: We are ahead of schedule!! Building D should now be complete! Building E tear out to be complete today and 4th Floor install to be complete today. Building E Floors 1-3 are to be complete by Oct 6th. This leaves us with the exciting news that we hope to be complete this whole project by end of day October 6th!!!

Previous Updates:

Oct 2nd: We are still on track! Building D & E tear out should be complete by end of day today! Building D 4th floor is complete. Building D floors 2 & 3 are to be complete today. Building D floor 1 and Building E floor 4 to be complete by Thursday.

Sept 28th: We appear to be ahead of pace still! Here is what the schedule appears to be for the next couple of days. Building C is to be complete by tomorrow morning. Building D tear out is to begin and complete on Oct 1. Install of Building D is to be Oct 1-3 starting from the 4th floor down. Building E tear out is to start and complete Oct 2. Install of Building E is to be Oct 4-6 also starting from the 4th floor down.

Sept 26th: Progress continues and we are still on pace for our revised schedule below! The 4th floor of Building C install is to be complete today, and then the 3rd floor of Building C is expected to be complete tomorrow. On Friday Sept 28th we expect install on the 2nd floor of Building C to be complete and tear out of Building D to begin.

Sept 24th: Building B Floors 3 & 4 are complete and Floors 1 & 2 are expected to be complete today as well. Tear out on Building C is now beginning with Floors 3 & 4 expected to be torn out by tomorrow.

Sept 19: WE ARE AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! Things are moving along nicely and due to minimal prep in Building A which is the largest building, we are moving faster than our initial schedule. Building A to be complete Friday Sept 21. Building B tear out to be complete today. Building B Floors 3 & 4 to begin Sept 21.

Sept 18: Building A tear out to be complete. Floor 3 install to be complete.

 Sept 17: Tear out of Building A floors 2-4. Install of Floor 4.
