The removal of carpet and pad on the 1st-5th floors is now complete. Today we will begin to remove the tack strips along the perimeter of the halls, remove the carpet in the stairwells and begin to prep the floors for installation. Carpet installation will begin shortly. We will update once floor prep has been completed.

The removal on the first and second floors are complete. The remainder of the removal will be completed tomorrow (Tuesday). At this time any recommended prep will be discussed with the carpet committee for approval and signs will be posted in the effected areas.

Please use caution over the next couple days as any cement used will be wet and very slippery- yellow ‘Caution’ signs will be posted in these areas. Installation of carpet is expected to begin on Wednesday.

Installation Timeline

October 20-21: Removal on floors 1-5 and stairs.

October 21-29: Removal on floors 1-5 and stairs. Usually our installers will start on the top floor and work their way down, then move onto stairs.
